Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Georgia to support our pharmacy operations under the supervision of the pharmacist. You will enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, and verify accuracy while assisting with inventory and customer service.

Responsibilities include processing third-party claims, supporting clinical services, and helping ensure compliance with policies. Flexible schedule and immunization certification willingness are required.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except PR).
• Minimum 1 year pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacy under supervision, following policy and Code of Conduct.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems; verify accuracy.
• Fill prescriptions, count and pour drugs; check for interactions.
• Assist scheduling and workflow; report prescription errors to pharmacist.
• Maintain inventory; manage shipments, waste, and assets.
• Support pharmacists in clinical services and coordination with providers.
• Handle cash register and customer assistance; participate in Pickup program.
• Train and coach technicians and cashiers on processes and tools.

Education
