Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, seeks a Senior Pharmacy Technician in Fresno, CA to support the mental health pharmacy. You will dispense prescriptions and handle administrative tasks under a pharmacist’s supervision, ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.

Hours are 8-hour shifts, Mon–Thu 8:30am–5:00pm and Fri 8:30am–5:00pm. Qualifications include an active California Pharmacy Technician license and at least one year of pharmacy experience, with a valid driver’s license for

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of California.
• 1+ years of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinics.
• Fills prescription orders and verifies under direct pharmacist supervision.
• Order, receive, and store pharmacy supplies; process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify stock and maintain inventory records in the computer system.
• Assist pharmacist with pharmacy functions and ensure state/federal compliance.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department and maintain clear communications.
