Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing medications and assisting customers in a fast-paced retail setting. You will enter patient and drug data into pharmacy systems, fill prescriptions, verify accuracy, and assist with daily store cash handling and customer service tasks.

The role requires PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico) and at least one year of pharmacy technician experience.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except PR).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision and with pharmacy operations.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems; fill prescriptions and verify accuracy.
• Handle cash register responsibilities and assist with OTC product placement.
• Support inventory management and workflow coordination in the Pharmacy Department.
