Job summary

Walgreens Co. in New York is hiring a Pharmacy Technician. Under the supervision of the Pharmacist, you will assist in dispensing, data entry and customer service to ensure accuracy and an excellent pharmacist-led patient experience.

You will help with inventory, claims processing and pharmacy operations, while maintaining compliance with the Pharmacy Code of Conduct and company policies. A valid PTCB/ExCPT certification and one year of experience are preferred, with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have active PTCB or ExCPT certification (except PR).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing and labeling prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Handle incoming calls and coordinate with physicians.
• Support inventory management and stock control.
• Provide customer service and guidance in OTC products.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies.
