Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy in Newark, DE is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician Representative I to ensure accurate and timely execution of tasks per SOPs, supervise and back up team members, and support productivity, quality and safety by operating production equipment and troubleshooting issues. The schedule is on-site: Sunday 7am–3:30pm, Monday–Thursday 6am–2:30pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year pharmacy experience.
• General PC knowledge and e-mail abilities.
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within dispensing pharmacy.
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
• Learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions.
• Ability and desire to assist team members.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate heavy work volumes.

Responsibilities

• Distribute workload and backfill as needed.
• Operate production equipment including labeling, printers, and restocking.
• Inform teams of equipment malfunctions.
• Act as first line resource for questions for team members.
• Promote a positive work environment for the team.
• Identify issues impacting performance and productivity.
• Escalate issues to Lead and Supervisor for action.
• Provide input regarding solutions for same.
• Assist in development and documentation of policies and procedures for technicians.
• Assist in training and validating technician staff.
• Provide one on one training in addition to group sessions as needed.
• Cross-train team members to cover production functions.
• Other duties as assigned.
