Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL, seeks a Pharmacy Technician II to work under licensed pharmacists, supporting distributive services and sterile/non-sterile compounding under safety regulations. A sign-on bonus of up to $5K may be available for eligible applicants with inpatient experience.

Responsibilities include training others, handling duties across technician levels, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• ACPHT, EXCPT, and RPT license credentials required.
• One year of inpatient pharmacy technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Trains, leads and serves as a resource to other technicians to help manage daily operational workflow.
• Able to perform all activities in the pharmacy technician scope of practice.
• Competent and skilled to perform all duties of Technician I and Technician II.
• Independently executes and completes pharmacy projects or reports under the direction of pharmacy leadership.
• Demonstrates proficiency in specialty areas as required (neonates, oncology, purchasing, automation, auditing, reimbursement, TPN, inventory management).
• Assists with development, organization, and implementation of process improvement, continuous quality and safety initiatives and outcomes.
