Qualifications

• Active pharmacy technician licensure or registration is required by state rules, or equivalent national certs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor queues to contact physicians for renewals and notify about expired authorizations.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and insurers by phone or fax to ensure accuracy of prescriptions and prior authorizations.
• Review incoming prescriptions, attach to profiles, and follow up for missing information.
• Prepare, label, assemble, and package medications and maintain inventory.
• Collaborate with service, billing, pharmacy, and shipping teams to move orders efficiently.
