Baptist Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician III to support the Hematology Oncology Pharmacy in a full‑time capacity. Qualified candidates must be nationally certified, with registrations due within 30 days of hire by Kentucky and Indiana boards. At least 6 months of sterile compounding experience is required.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified as a pharmacy technician.
• Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
• Registration with Indiana Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
• 6 months of sterile compounding experience and knowledge of aseptic techniques, metric, apothecary weight and measurement conversions, normal drug dosages, routes of administration and dosing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and distribute medications under supervision.
• Fill stock orders for inpatient and outpatient.
• Package and label medications per department guidelines; prepare unit-dose medication when appropriate.
• Perform station inspections and restock medications.
• Maintain infection control and a clean, orderly pharmacy area.
• Assist in cost containment of compounded sterile products and manage shortages.
