Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician III to support pharmacy services by assembling and distributing medications under supervision. Must hold national certification and complete state registrations within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities include order processing, stocking, labeling, calculations, and contributing to sterile product cost containment. Qualified candidates have sterile compounding experience, knowledge of aseptic techniques, and familiarity with infection control

Qualifications

• Certified pharmacy technician with national certification.
• Registration with the KY Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire if applicable.
• Registration with the IN Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire if applicable.
• 6 months of sterile compounding experience and aseptic technique knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Fills stock orders and processes inpatient/outpatient medication orders.
• Labels medications and prepares unit-dose packaging per guidelines.
• Performs station inspections and restocks medications as needed.
• Performs necessary calculations accurately.
• Contributes to cost containment of sterile products and addresses shortages.
