Job summary

Bayside Health, a public health service serving a large regional community, is seeking Senior Pharmacy Technicians for the Alfred Care Group. The role covers multiple rotations across aseptic services, procurement, distribution, inpatient and outpatient areas, with a focus on safe, timely medication delivery.

You will mentor staff and students, contribute to medication management improvements, and participate in research and process improvement as part of an academic health centre environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Hospital-Health Services Pharmacy Support or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years experience as a qualified Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or community setting.
• Experience supervising or training staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across aseptic services, procurement and distribution, inpatient and outpatient services.
• Involve in expanded scope initiatives like Tech Check Tech and support research projects.
