Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations under a licensed pharmacist. The role includes teaching pharmacy technicians and trainees, contributing to policy development, and participating in safety and quality projects.
Responsibilities include medication preparation, inventory management, and collaboration on process improvements while maintaining regulatory compliance and high standards of clinical care.
Under the direction of a licensed pharmacist and following established policies and procedures, the Pharmacy Technician Senior performs a variety of technical procedures to support pharmacy operations. Teaches and trains Pharmacy Technician Associates, new Pharmacy Technicians, interns, and students and participates in safety and quality improvement projects. Assists with development of departmental policies, procedures, and training program materials.
Hours per Week: 40, eligible for benefits
Shift: Day/Evening, 0600-2300 (8-hour shifts). This position does require weekends and holiday commitments. Every third weekend and approximately 2 - 3 holidays per year.
Positions are eligible for shift differentials (evening and weekend).

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Hourly Range: $23.32 to $34.97
