Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support drug distribution and patient care in a fast-paced setting in Lebanon, NH. You will assist pharmacists, handle prescriptions, and help train pharmacy staff, with opportunities for inpatient and infusion duties as applicable.

The role requires an associate degree in a health field and NH-registered technician certification, plus the ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a busy environment.

Competenze

• Associates degree in a health or related field.
• One year of pharmacy experience, or equivalent education/experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Multitask and maintain composure under stress.

Mansioni

• Answers phones and assists customers and clinicians.
• Prepares prescription and non-prescription medications and devices.
• Stocks and replenishes stock locations and automated dispensing machines.
• Acts as a preceptor and assists with orienting and training staff; provides CII oversight.
• Manages workflow and communicates supply issues to the team.
• For inpatient: prepares IV admixtures and sterile/non-sterile products under supervision.
• For outpatient: processes prescription orders for pharmacist verification and handles third party claims.
