Qualifications

PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Assist in pharmacy practice under supervision of pharmacist.
Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems; ensure accuracy.
Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring drugs; verify accuracy.
Assist with scheduling, workflow and inventory management.
Report prescription errors and adhere to policies.
Process manual claims for third-party prescription services.
Support pharmacy staff in clinical services and coordination with healthcare providers.
