Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (where required).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing by retrieving, counting and pouring medications.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and check for accuracy.
• Support scheduling and workflow within the Pharmacy Department.
• Process manual and third-party claims accurately and timely.
• Maintain inventory by ordering, unpacking, and stocking medicines and supplies.
• Assist with customer service at checkout and help locate OTC products.
• Support clinical services and coordination with providers as needed.
