Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Georgia Pharmacy Technician License.
• CPhT status required within 1 year of employment; reinstatement window if lapse.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and distribution of patient medications.
• Maintain inventory and stock medications throughout the hospital.
• Assist with daily review of regulatory paperwork and patient billing records.
• Support automated dispensing machines management and quality control.
• Direct department communications to route calls and deliver patient-specific medications.
• Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance programs.
• Contribute to monthly unit inspections for medication-stocking units.
• Assist in optimizing pharmacy workflow and maintaining a cooperative team environment.
