Job summary

Qualifications

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) per PTCB.
Pharmacy Technician License issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in project management/system responsibility (e.g. Pyxis, narcotics control, QI) or Pharmacy School graduate or expanded responsibilities or Pharmacy Intern License.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist in preparing medications for patient use (oral and parenteral).
Assist in distribution of medications, record keeping, and billing functions.
Maintain inventory levels and handle assigned operational duties.
Assist in completing medication orders and related distribution duties in assigned areas.
Assist in best possible medication histories for patients.
