Job summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a Pharmacy Senior Tech I for temporary, on-call roles across Lexington, KY, including Community Pharmacy and Ryan White Services. This fast-paced, retail-oriented position supports dispensing and patient care in multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 1 year related experience
• High School education required
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) with CPhT designation and Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration within 30 days of hire or if previously registered
• Must be able to sit at a computer, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks with fine motor skills

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense prescriptions in a fast-paced community/retail setting.
• Assist in Ryan White Services and other programs as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
