Job summary

University of Kentucky’s Richmond Retail Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Sr Tech I/Retail/OnCall for the UKHC Retail Pharmacy. The role supports pharmacists, fills and dispenses prescriptions, and delivers patient-centered service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and an active CPhT certification with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration within 30 days of hire. On-call, temporary shifts with evening/weekend hours are common.

Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification via PTCB or ExCPT with CPhT designation.
• Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire or on day one if previously registered.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in medicine preparation and distribution in a busy retail setting.
• Fills and dispenses prescriptions in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Requires attention to detail and excellent customer service.
