Surgical Care Affiliates, LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Services and Medication Safety Director to provide enterprise strategic direction, clinical oversight, and regulatory guidance for medication management across a national network of ambulatory surgery centers, surgical hospitals, and procedures facilities.

The role requires PharmD, extensive multi-state leadership experience, and deep knowledge of regulatory standards (CMS, AAAHC, Joint Commission).

Qualifikationen

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required and active pharmacist license in at least one state.
• Minimum ten years of progressive pharmacy leadership experience.
• Experience in ambulatory surgery centers, outpatient procedural care, or similar complex healthcare environments.
• Experience with AAAHC, The Joint Commission, CMS, and state boards of pharmacy regulatory readiness.
• Ability to develop dashboards, audits, policy frameworks, and performance improvement tools.

Aufgaben

• Lead enterprise pharmacy strategy, governance, and standardization across ASCs and clinical facilities.
• Oversee medication safety programs, risk mitigation, and controlled substance stewardship.
• Partner with Supply Chain on contracting, formulary standardization, and cost containment.
• Manage regulatory compliance, DEA readiness, and quality outcomes.
• Develop and monitor dashboards, EHR workflows, and clinical decision support.
