Qualifications

• Must hold NVQ/QCF Level 2 Pharmacy Service Skills Certificate

Responsibilities

• Work in a patient-facing environment supporting patients with their medicines
• Order, receive and manage medicines to ensure wards have what they need
• Stock management and replenishment at ward level
• Label, dispense and prepare medicines following training and competency assessment
• Communicate with patients, ward staff, healthcare professionals and service users
• Support safe and effective medicines use across the Trust
• Provide supervision, support and training to staff
• Develop new skills through structured training, including patient counselling
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Contribute to a safe, efficient and compassionate pharmacy service daily
