Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Senior Consultant, Pharmacy Procurement to lead cost-saving strategies across mid-level categories and support Pharmacy Managers. You will help operationalize supplier agreements, evaluate workflows, and mitigate regulatory and safety risks while maintaining supply chain integrity.

The role partners with Category Management to optimize spend. Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of RFx/sourcing experience, strong analytics, and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, or related field.
• 3–6 years of progressive RFx, sourcing, negotiating, and contracting experience.
• Master’s degree in supply chain (preferred).
• Strong organizational/follow-up skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis, ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Support Category Managers strategies and opportunity assessments for specific categories.
• Recommend sourcing plans to Category Manager for assigned spend categories addressing cost drivers using contracting, competitive bidding, value analysis and financial analysis to meet cost savings targets.
• Handles category issues in absence of Category Manager; aggregate and analyze usage across OhioHealth.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholders with data-driven sourcing initiatives and leverage market analysis to secure best value.
• Ensure contracts are up-to-date and manage vendor data accuracy.
