You will lead professional staff, develop policies, oversee budgeting, collaborate with clinicians, and drive performance improvements within a growing pediatric pharmacy program at this new Wesley Chapel site.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in a B.S. or Pharm D. degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Completion of PGY1 ASHP residency or equivalent experience (3 years general practice) required.
• Completion of PGY2 ASHP residency or equivalent experience (3 years specialized practice) required.
• 7+ years of experience in pharmacy practice required.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmacy management/leadership required.
• Pharmacist licensure in applicable state; Florida licensure required or in process.
• Consultant Pharmacist license within 90 days of hire (Florida only).

Responsibilities

• Directs planning, coordination, and execution of daily pharmacy operations across assigned practice areas.
• Contributes to long-range planning for pharmacy services and advancement of practice.
• Develops and maintains operational policies and standard work.
• Determines staffing needs and oversees scheduling and workload distribution.
• Provides leadership for staff, including training, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Represents pharmacy operations in committees and collaborations with internal/external partners.
• Oversees budget development, monitors expenditures, and implements cost-control strategies.
• Collaborates with purchasing to establish standards and ensure medication availability.
• Participates in quality and safety committees and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Contributes to emergency preparedness and continuity plans for pharmacy services.
• Oversees inventory management and controlled substance accountability.
