Job summary

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to perform data entry of prescription orders and medical records in a team-oriented environment.

The role requires LC/CPHT certification, strong computer skills, and the ability to work swing shifts (1:30PM–10:00PM EST) with rotating weekends/holidays. Licensed in listed states is required; remote options may apply within qualified states.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements.
• General computer knowledge including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with others and share best practices.
• Weekend/holiday/alternate shift availability for 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Contact physician's office as needed for refill authorization.
• Contact client for verification of orders as needed.
• Process all new and refill prescriptions.
• Open orders, verify eligibility, and input prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality.
• Document correspondence and follow up in the system.
• Prepare audit sheets and provide feedback to manager.
• Forward incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate department and track status.
• May assist with research of lost or missing orders per internal requests.
• May provide backup support to other pharmacy groups as needed.
• Answer incoming calls promptly and provide high standard customer service.
