Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Analyst to contribute to policy, data analysis, and drug reference maintenance within Wisconsin's MMIS. The role emphasizes Medicaid/Medicare knowledge, pharmacy reimbursement, and cross-functional collaboration with policy and clinical staff.

The ideal candidate will have extensive healthcare analytics experience, proficiency with drug data, and a focus on maintaining accurate drug reference files to support outpatient drug coverage decisions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Healthcare/Pharmacy
• 3+ years of Medicaid/Medicare experience
• Experience in Pharmacy reimbursement and understanding of drug coverage rules
• Experience as a systems business analyst
• Understanding of National drug codes (NDC)
• Experience with drug claims processes

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory care and policy-analytic collaboration for drug coverage and reimbursement policies
• Maintain and update the drug reference file within Wisconsin MMIS
• Analyze drug data, perform research, and publish data tables
• Support development of drug policy changes and improve data quality and efficiency
• Act as embedded resource on the pharmacy team within the bureau
