Job summary

Onco360 Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Adjudication Supervisor to lead a dedicated adjudication team and ensure accurate processing of pharmacy claims. You will communicate with payers, manage third-party rejections, coordinate benefits, and engage with patients about delays due to insurance issues.

The role supports a Monday–Friday 8:30 am–5:00 pm CST schedule in a full-time capacity, with opportunities for professional growth and impact in a specialty oncology program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; pharmacy knowledge helpful.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree and/or Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• 4+ years of pharmacy adjudication or equivalent; leadership experience required.
• 1+ years supervisor experience and specialty pharmacy exposure preferred.
• Pharmacy terminology, billing and insurance knowledge essential.
• Licenses: Pharmacy Technician license/registration as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise adjudication staff and promote teamwork to minimize turnover.
• Assist Director in daily pharmacy operations and improve procedures.
• Recruit, hire, train, and coach staff; implement corrective actions.
• Manage daily activity and monitor workflow; run Pulse reports.
• Resolve high-priority claim rejections and escalate when needed.
• Adjudicate pharmacy claims and verify accuracy before settlement.
• Contact insurers to resolve rejections and reschedule deliveries as needed.
• Document prior authorizations and maintain patient profiles.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies and patient confidentiality.
• Support projects and initiatives; maintain safe pharmacy environment.
