Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a senior Pharmacometrician to conceive, execute, and communicate multidisciplinary PK/PD modeling and simulations to support development plans and regulatory requirements. You will lead modeling efforts, evaluate technical aspects, and work across Clinical Pharmacology to drive strategic decisions.

The candidate should have a PhD with extensive experience in Pharmacometrics, strong leadership, and robust data analysis skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams

Qualifications

• PhD with 3+ years in a relevant field and extensive experience in Pharmacometrics or related areas.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact with internal stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Strategic thinking with enterprise-level view.
• Proven track record in scientific and technical execution.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategy, lead teams and data analyses with context.
• Assist senior management in action plan selection for drug development.
• Author regulatory documents (PK/PD analyses, study reports, population PK reports, exposure-response analyses).
• Represent Pharmacometrics in Clinical Pharmacology and project team leadership meetings.
• Collaborate to develop a unified Clinical Pharmacology position.
• Publish scientific papers and present at conferences.
• Participate in internal/external initiatives and working groups.
