Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a senior Clinical Pharmacology leader to communicate and shape PK/PD strategy across drug development. You will provide scientific interpretation, guide regulatory interactions, and oversee teams within Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics to deliver high-quality results.

You will collaborate with R&D, regulatory, and business units, influence strategic decisions, and drive performance through mentoring and cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PhD with typically 9+ years of experience or PharmD with typically 11+ years.
• Master's Degree in Science with typically 17+ years of related work.
• Bachelor's Degree in Science with typically 19+ years or more of related work.
• Relevant field includes PK, PBPK, PK-PD, Pharmacometrics or systems pharmacology.

Responsibilities

• Independently leads Clinical Pharmacology/PK/PD activities and major projects.
• Identifies issues impacting multiple complex projects and leads risk assessments.
• Provides expert scientific and strategic consultation to R&D, Regulatory, and all levels of management.
• Leads teams within Clinical Pharmacology and across functions; manages cross-functional teams.
