Qualifications

• PhD with 7+ years of experience or PharmD with 9+ years; MS/BS with extensive experience.
• Experience in PK, PBPK, PK-PD, Pharmacometrics or systems pharmacology.
• Leadership competencies in PK/PD and related activities across multiple projects.
• Scientific project leadership or related experience; strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of AbbVie drug development processes and cross-functional program needs.

Responsibilities

• Leads Clinical Pharmacology/PK/PD activities and major projects.
• Advises R&D senior management on action plans to meet objectives.
• Provides timelines and negotiates cross-functional deliverables.
• Offers scientific consultation to R&D, Regulatory, and management.
• Leads regulatory documents writing and responses to agency comments.
• Performs due diligence and represents CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY on teams.
• Develops process improvements and contributes to departmental goals.
• Maintains knowledge of PK/PD data analysis, modeling, and software.
• May manage personnel including development and mentoring.
