Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in Los Angeles is seeking a research scientist to support development and maintenance of population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic analysis, simulation and dosing programs. You will work with a team of mathematicians, physicians and engineers, applying innovative approaches to individualize drug therapy.
The role requires 5+ years of post-graduate research and teaching in quantitative biology/pharmacometrics, with a PhD in statistics/biology/computer
Formación
- PhD in statistics or allied field with published thesis in quantitative biology.
- 5+ years of post-graduate research and teaching experience.
- Experience in quantitative biology and pharmacometrics.
- Experience with statistical/computational modeling of complex biological systems.
- Experience developing population models for inference and control.
Responsabilidades
- Develop and maintain population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic analysis, simulation and dosing programs.
- Collaborate with a team of mathematicians, physicians and engineers on innovative methods.
- Adapt high-dimensional statistical analyses to pharmacometrics problems.
- Train and mentor students and scientists at USC/CHLA and collaborations.
