Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier CMO in Spokane seeks a Project Engineer to provide pharmaceutical engineering leadership across Commercialization, Development, & Optimization (CDO). You will guide projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements with cross‑functional teams.

The role involves developing specifications, coordinating with suppliers and internal customers, and delivering technically sound solutions for a fast‑paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering required.
• Level II requires 3+ years of project management or project engineering.
• Level III requires 7+ years of project management or project engineering.
• Senior requires 10+ years in project management or project engineering with pharma experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for CDO engineering projects and opportunities, process characterization, equipment and process changes, compliance upgrades, cost reduction, contract manufacturing, process improvements, facility and utility impacts, construction projects, and related technical initiatives.
• Applies pharmaceutical engineering judgment to evaluate technical feasibility, define engineering requirements, support design, modification, and troubleshooting, and recommend practical solutions.
• Ensures knowledge of regulatory requirements for facility, equipment, and processes to comply with regulatory agencies.
• Manages assigned CDO engineering projects per Project Management Guidelines, including scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
• Interacts with internal departments and external agencies, vendors, and contractors to meet project objectives.
• Develops detailed specifications, scope inputs, and RFQs for partnerships and projects.
• Maintains engineering documentation per regulatory standards and SOPs.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering discipline
