Job summary

LTS Lohmann Therapy Systems is seeking a Senior Production Planner to join Manufacturing Operations in West St. Paul, MN. You will develop, manage, and optimize production schedules within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.

The role emphasizes SAP PP and SAP MDM, inventory optimization, and collaboration across departments; mostly onsite with limited hybrid potential after the introductory period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of production planning experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• 3+ years of SAP PP and SAP MDM experience required.
• Knowledge of FDA and cGMP requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules for pharmaceutical batch manufacturing operations.
• Execute MRP and capacity planning activities in SAP PP to support material availability and efficient resource utilization.
• Govern SAP master data, including material masters, BOMs, recipes, routings, production versions, planning parameters, and lead times.
• Coordinate production plans across Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Quality, Procurement, Warehouse, and Program Management.
• Monitor inventory levels, material availability, shelf-life constraints, and supply risks with proactive mitigation plans.
• Support product launches, technology transfers, process validations, engineering changes, and commercialization activities.
• Track and report planning performance metrics to drive improvements in schedule adherence and customer service.
