Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a seasoned Personnel Security Officer to lead the PERSEC program supporting national security missions. You will ensure compliance with NISPOM and DoD/IC requirements while enabling rapid, compliant classified work.

The role interfaces with multiple security domains and business units to protect sensitive information. You will coordinate with security leadership and HR, manage adverse information, and drive improvements in clearance processing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in security management, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Industrial Security with focus on PERSEC.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current Tier 5 and active Top Secret SCI clearance.
• Domestic travel may be required (25%).

Responsibilities

• Manage the Personnel Security program in partnership with the Sr PERSEC Officer in compliance with NISPOM and DoD/IC requirements.
• Oversee end-to-end clearance processing including investigations, reinvestigations, and clearance coordination.
• Serve as the Denver-based interface with DoD/IC PERSEC representatives for clearance matters.
• Ensure submissions and management within government systems of record (DISS, NBIS, etc.).
• Develop and maintain internal controls, SOPs, and metrics for audit readiness and compliance.
