Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Personnel Security Manager in the National Capital Region to lead the security program for TS/SCI and SAP environments onsite within the United States.

You will own and coordinate personnel security actions, indoctrinations, reinvestigations, and continuous vetting; draft SOPs; advise program leadership; and ensure preparedness for inspections across multiple enclaves.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years DoD/IC security experience; at least 5 years in personnel security for SCI/SAP.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience as a DoD/IC security program manager for TS/SCI with SAP involvement.
• Familiar with 32 CFR Part 117, DoDM 5200.02, SEAD 3/4, and Trusted Workforce 2.0.

Responsibilities

• Owns and manages the contractor security program for personnel security, SCI, and SAP access.
• Process clearance actions, SCI nominations, SAP access requests, indoctrinations, debriefings, and reinvestigations in DISS/NBIS.
• Draft and maintain the program security SOP; interface with client security leadership.
