Job summary

DUAL North America is seeking a Personal Lines Product Manager to lead the strategic development, pricing, and profitability of homeowners, renters, and related products. You will guide the product lifecycle from market analysis through implementation, working with underwriting, actuarial, claims, IT, and marketing.

The role requires 5+ years in personal lines, strong analytical skills, and experience with carriers/MGAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in personal lines insurance, preferably in product management, underwriting, actuarial, or portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products, underwriting principles, pricing, and profitability.
• Experience working with insurance carriers, MGAs, or other property & casualty organizations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret insurance performance data and translate analysis into actionable business decisions.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other analytical/business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies for personal lines products such as homeowners, renters, and condo.
• Identify opportunities for new products, coverage enhancements, and market expansion.
• Perform competitive and market analysis for pricing, coverage, and distribution.
• Manage product lifecycle from development to retirement and coordinate with IT and Operations.
• Monitor product performance using key metrics and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, and Compliance to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and train partners on product usage and positioning.
• Work with Distribution and Marketing to strengthen product positioning and channel strategy.
