Requirements

1. Six months of accountable cash handling/transaction management in a retail or customer service environment
2. Successful completion of the FCBI Step Program for internal employees
3. Ability to work effectively with co-workers in a team environment
4. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
5. High school diploma, high school equivalency, or current high school attendance
6. At least 18 years of age
7. Successful pass of background investigation according to company policy

Job Description

Under immediate supervision, provides exceptional customer service involving receipt and payment of cash in a high-volume sales environment. Responsibilities include:

1. Following bank policies and supervisor directives
2. Achieving monthly new account production targets
3. Processing deposits and payouts accurately, balancing daily transactions
4. Verifying cash and checks, checking endorsements, and guarding against counterfeit currency
5. Entering transactions into computer systems and issuing receipts
6. Selling and preparing financial products such as money orders, cashier's checks, wires, bonds, checks, and certificates of deposit
7. Processing Western Union wires and cash advances
8. Cross-selling bank services and products
9. Providing services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers
10. Performing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Environmental and Physical Requirements

• Standing or walking for extended periods, depending on branch location
• Ability to work in a high-volume, stressful, and noisy environment
• Operating computers and office machinery
• Lifting up to 25 lbs
