Provident Bank in Rumson, NJ seeks a Senior Personal Banker to build and maintain relationships while delivering high-quality service. This role handles account openings, cross-selling, tele-consulting, and supports branch operations with a focus on retention and growth of a book of business.

The position may involve licensing opportunities in Life and Health and requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with a flexible schedule to meet branch needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of sales/service experience in a retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Professional demeanor with customers and coworkers.
• Strong math and analytical skills; problem solving abilities.
• Ability to handle escalated matters and resolve issues.
• Able to establish strong customer relationships through consultative conversations.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must register as a mortgage loan originator with the NMLS prior to mortgage activities.

Responsabilités

• Meet sales referrals and cross-selling goals using knowledge of product benefits.
• Promote bank products and address customer inquiries about accounts and services.
• Refer customers for commercial products to branch manager or partners.
• Exceed customer expectations through active engagement and service.
• Grow and manage a book of business with retention in mind.
• Assist with branch operational needs and provide supervision when needed.
