Job summary

WellStar Health System in Georgia seeks a proactive RN Clinical Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team delivering individualized, high-quality patient care. You will operate under Nurse Managers and leadership, applying evidence-based practice and the WellStar Practice Model to uphold safety and excellence.

You will perform the nursing process, partner with patients and families, and participate in governance and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire (ACLS, BLS, PALS, RN license).
• Minimum 5 years of patient care experience as an RN.
• English language proficiency and strong interpersonal, collaborative skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Exemplary practice and outcomes through the nursing process and evidence-based care.
• Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide patient-centered care respectful of age, gender and cultural diversity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in rounds and care coordination.
• Mentor and precept other nurses and staff; support professional development.
• Support quality improvement and adhere to governance and safety standards.
