Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an RN Clinical Periop Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the operating room. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure individualized treatment outcomes and engage in performance improvement and research activities.

The role requires at least 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience, an active RN license (single state or compact), and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications upon hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred).
• Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required upon hire.
• Knowledge of healthcare policies, safety standards, and evidence-based practice.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive assessments, develops and implements care plans based on evidence-based standards, and evaluates patient progress.
• Partners with patients and families through effective communication, promotes teamwork, supports performance improvement initiatives, and upholds professional nursing standards and ethical practices.
• Participates in research, quality improvement, and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform nursing processes, coordinate care, foster patient partnerships, participate in performance improvement and research activities, support resource efficiency, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
