Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a registered nurse to join a high-volume perioperative team in a fast-paced hospital setting, supporting complex surgeries including vascular, cardiac, thoracic, robotic, and transplant procedures.

You will provide direct patient care through the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to patient education, safety, and care transitions.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure.
• Perioperative or operating room experience preferred; no supervisor experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within nursing standards.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on post-treatment management, medication, and home care needs.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, as well as ongoing professional development.
• Develop and document individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring effective communication across care transitions.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, addressing patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
