Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking experienced Operating Room Nurses with 2+ years of perioperative care to provide direct patient care, assessment, and coordination in a fast-paced surgical environment in St. Louis.

Qualifications

Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree and RN licensure are required.
2-5 years of perioperative nursing experience.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, CNOR certification, Periop 101, mastery test out preferred.
Strong knowledge of surgical safety protocols, patient assessment, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Assist with surgical procedures by preparing instruments and supplies, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining sterile technique.
Monitor patients during surgery for complications and prevent adverse events such as infections or injuries.
Label and preserve operative specimens for analysis.
Participate in safety, quality, and compliance activities, and support ongoing professional development.
Educate patients and families about procedures and support resources.
