Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure / network / security engineering with 5+ years in architecture or senior leadership.
• Experience owning perimeter security and DMZ architectures for large enterprise environments.
• Delivery experience in regulated industries with audit/risk expectations.

Responsibilities

• Works across business, operations and technology to create the solution intent and architectural vision for complex solutions and prioritize requirements into a technology backlog.
• Contributes to architecture roadmap across domains to support product roadmap and standardized practices.
• Clarifies architecture and provides options to resolve impediments during implementation.
• Leads design of complex architectures with secure, adaptable patterns and ensures governance across programs.
• Educates teams on security practices and standardization strategies to enable innovative solutions.
• Supports technology stack decisions and selects preferred products.
• Performs design and code reviews to ensure non-functional requirements (security, performance, scalability) are met.
• Designs scalable and secure ingress/egress and zero-trust concepts for Internet-facing services.
• Acts as design authority for network segmentation, partner access, and external hosting.
• Develops reusable frameworks to standardize policy enforcement and observability.
• Partners with security, infrastructure and app teams to embed security into designs.
• Provides thought leadership and drives adoption of approved patterns.
• Mentors engineering and security teams on secure-by-design practices.
