Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NYS college or program in perfusion technology.
• Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion is mandatory.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement patient care requirements for surgery.
• Set up and operate the heart/lung machine.
• Consult with physicians to select appropriate equipment.
• Perform related duties as required.
