Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Mason, Ohio seeks a Perfumer to develop Irresistibly Superior fragrance experiences for Beauty. You will create, test, and refine fragrance solutions by translating consumer insights and technical requirements into superior scent experiences, collaborating with R&D and Brand teams.

The role sits in the Beauty Fragrance Design team, working on strategy, development and execution from concept through optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Food Science or related field.
• Perfumery training and proven experience in the Flavors & Fragrances industry.
• Some travel domestically and potentially internationally
• Working hours between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (with flexible start time between 7-9 a.m.).
• At least 4 days per week working from our Mason, OH office.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and execute strategies in the Beauty West Fragrance Design team
• Design, formulate, and develop new perfume and perfume technology creations
• Partner with R&D teams to integrate perfumes to deliver Irresistibly Superior experiences for our brands.
• Identify and lead developments of new ideas, techniques, procedures, services, or products
• Collaborate effectively within immediate team or work domain to maximize job impact and personal learning
• Work under limited supervision, following defined precedents and policies
• Develop knowledge and skills necessary for current job requirements
