Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on load and performance testing for web apps and APIs.
• Proficiency in JMeter and/or k6 with scripting, debugging, maintenance, and test automation.
• Understanding of latency percentiles, throughput, errors, and resource utilization.
• Experience testing multi-tier apps with HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, JSON, auth, and sessions.
• SQL proficiency for test data prep, validation, and DB perf issues.
• Experience with Git, reproducible tests, and regression analysis across releases.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and performance targets.
• Design workload models with concurrent users, think time, and ramp-up.
• Plan baseline, load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Develop reusable JMeter or k6 scripts with authentication and data handling.
• Monitor results with Dynatrace, IIS metrics, logs, and SQL activity.
• Investigate bottlenecks across app, API, DB, and infra layers.
• Provide capacity findings and recommendations for infra planning.
• Integrate performance checks into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
