Job summary

Intellibee Inc. is seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer to join our Sacramento team. You will own and execute performance testing strategies for web applications and APIs, focusing on realistic workload modeling and sustained endurance testing to meet defined SLAs.

You will collaborate with DevOps, architecture, and DB teams to identify bottlenecks, validate results, and drive tuning efforts for scalable performance. This role requires hands-on testing and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Apache JMeter for performance testing.
• Ability to model realistic workloads using transactions, throughput, concurrency.
• Hands-on test execution and performance metrics analysis.
• Experience with API/web performance testing and bottleneck analysis.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on performance testing using JMeter across web apps and APIs.
• Develop, parameterize, correlate, and maintain performance test scripts.
• Create realistic workload models with transaction volumes, throughput, concurrency, pacing, and peak-load patterns.
• Execute load, stress, scalability, concurrency, and long-duration endurance tests (12 hours peak-load endurance per ICMS).
• Analyze response times, percentiles, throughput, error rates, and resource metrics.
• Identify bottlenecks, perform root-cause analysis, and support tuning and retesting.
• Test integrated systems under concurrent workloads and validate against SLAs and targets.
• Document test scenarios, results, defects, and supporting evidence.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, DevOps, DB, infrastructure, and interfaces teams.
