Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. seeks a Performance Test Engineer and Test Architect to design and lead performance testing initiatives. You will craft the testing strategy, develop LR/VUGen scripts for Web, RDP and Java protocols, and coordinate test execution and reporting across teams.

You will analyze results, optimize performance, and guide the test architecture while leveraging SiteScope and related tools to monitor systems. This role focuses on end-to-end performance assessment in Barrington, IL.

Qualifications

• Around 6 years of experience with LoadRunner and performance testing.
• Experience in planning and developing performance test strategies for web and client-server apps.
• Designing and scripting LR/VUGen scenarios for multiple protocols (Web, RDP, Java).
• Experience setting up performance test scenarios and executing tests with integrated tools.
• Knowledge of mobile performance testing on Android/tablets.
• Familiarity with automation tools (QTP/Selenium).
• Experience with monitoring tools like SiteScope for performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create performance testing strategy and framework.
• Plan, script, execute, analyze and report performance tests.
• Define viability/workflow/PSR test strategies.
• Build the test team and capture required skill sets.
