Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Performance Test Engineer to lead strategy development and scripting with LoadRunner for multi-protocol scenarios. The role emphasizes test planning, analysis, and reporting, plus coordinating a team and using Rally for work tracking.

The candidate will define viability tests, build testing frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive performance improvements across Web and client-server applications.

Qualifications

• Approximately 6 years of experience in performance/load testing using LoadRunner.
• Experience in planning and developing performance test strategies for Web/Client-Server applications.
• Develop and script performance tests for protocols such as Web, RDP, Java.
• Experience in performance analysis and monitoring tools like SiteScope.
• Knowledge of performance testing for mobile apps on Android/tablets.
• Familiarity with automation testing (QTP/Selenium) is preferable.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JUnit and LoadRunner/Performance Center.

Responsibilities

• Create a Performance Testing Strategy and framework, then strategize execution, analysis and reporting.
• Implement the strategy, script, execute, analyze and report results.
• Design LR scenarios for multiple protocols and set up scenarios with integrated tools (PC, ALM, SiteScope).
• Define Viability Test and Test Strategy (Viability, Workflow, PSR).
• Define required skill set and team; enter work in Rally.

• Create Performance Testing Strategy, Create framework to implement strategy, Strategize execution, analysis and reporting
• Implement strategy, Script, Execute, Analyze and Report
• Experience in design and scripting LR scenarios, VUGen scripts with multiple protoclos (Web, HTTP, C/VBScript, Java), exeperience with setting up scenarios, working with integrated tools like PC, ALM, Sitescope, execution of Performance tests and analysis of results
• Define Viability Test
• Define Test Strategy (Viability, Workflow, PSR)
• Define Skill Set and Team
• Enter work in Rally

Required Skills:

• Around 6 years’ experience in Performance \ Load Testing using LoadRunner tool
• Expertise in Performance Test Planning \ Strategy Development for different kinds of application like Web\Client-Server
• Expertise in development of performance test scripting \ test scenarios for various protocols like Web, RDP, Java etc
• Expertise in Performance Analysis process and monitoring tools like Site scope
• Knowledge of Performance Testing for Mobile applications on Android / Tablets
• Knowledge of different Automation Testing using QTP\Selenium is preferable
