Job summary

Numerator is seeking a Performance Tester to validate system performance, scalability, and stability under varying workloads. You will execute tests, analyze results, and contribute to defining NFRs across applications.

Collaborating with Development, QA, and DevOps, you will log defects in JIRA, create insightful reports, and help optimize performance across the full test lifecycle. The role emphasizes automated scripting with JMeter and KPI-based reporting for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of performance testing principles, methodologies, and delivery practices.
• Practical experience in creating and executing performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
• Working knowledge of HTTP, APIs, and web-based applications.
• Basic capability in monitoring, metrics interpretation, and log analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the definition and understanding of performance requirements, KPIs, and workload models.
• Develop, maintain, and execute performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
• Design and execute load, stress, and endurance test scenarios to validate performance and resilience.
• Analyse test outcomes, interpret performance trends, and identify bottlenecks or risks.
• Prepare clear performance test reports, including findings and recommendations.
• Log, track, and support resolution of performance-related defects through JIRA.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and DevOps teams to support test delivery.
