Job summary

N-iX, a global software development company, is seeking a Non-Functional Test Engineer in Boston, MA. You will design, implement, and maintain automated tests to evaluate performance, stability, scalability, and resilience across distributed systems.

You will collaborate with development, QA, platform, and DevSecOps teams to embed non-functional testing into our release process, run load and stress tests, and translate findings into automated regression scenarios for CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with performance and load testing across distributed systems.
• Ability to design tests for throughput, bottlenecks and reliability.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute non-functional test scenarios (load, stress, scalability).
• Simulate real-world traffic to validate system performance and resilience.
• Identify bottlenecks across API, database, infra, and network layers.
• Collaborate with developers, DevSecOps, QA, product, and infra teams on test objectives.
• Prepare detailed test reports with metrics, risks, and recommendations.
• Support performance testing within CI/CD pipelines.
