Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a performance infrastructure engineer to build and run benchmarking automation, data collection, and workload capture across silicon, FPGA/emulation platforms, and performance models. The role partners with performance and software teams so they can focus on analysis and optimization rather than hand-running experiments, spanning pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.

Responsibilities include CI pipelines, SimPoint generation, dashboards, and scalable data pipelines

Qualifications

• Strong Linux systems engineering skills; ability to manage lab machines, clusters, and flaky hardware.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting; solid CI experience in GitLab and containers.
• Experience automating at scale including job scheduling, artifact management, databases, and dashboards.
• Bias for identifying problems, building solutions, and enabling other engineers to move faster.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain benchmarking automation and CI pipelines that run SPEC and real-world workloads across RISC-V silicon, FPGA/emulation platforms, and performance models.
• Own SimPoint generation and the infrastructure that manages it.
• Build performance-data collection into databases with dashboards and visualization tools for trends and regressions.
• Develop workload capture and replay tooling using QEMU- and CRIU-based checkpointing for reproducible analysis.
• Collaborate with performance and software engineers to remove infrastructure friction and accelerate workflows.
